Somebody has said, “we can never be the better for our religion if our neighbor is the worse for it.”  We must understand that neighbors are important and if we want them to know what Christ will do in their lives, then we must let them see what Christ has done for us.  We must show love and concern for our neighbors, yet we must not pull down our hedges.  We must remember these words and seek to practice them:

“Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself”

 (Matthew 19:19)

“Keeping the Faith”

These  are  difficult times for all of us, however, God still  provides and God does care for His own.  These economic and job loss times are sure to try our faith.  Our faith in God through Jesus Christ must be and is stronger for every humble task in which we need and get His aid.  Phillips Brooks says, “then that humble task is necessary to the fullness of our faith in God and it will make the music of our lives more firm and solid.”

We must keep the  faith at all times whether good or bad.  You see faith makes us come to the realization that when outward strength is broken, it (faith) rests on the promises and in the midst of difficulty, it (faith) draws the sting out of every hardship and shrinks the bitterness from every affliction.  We must keep the faith because it is a Godly anchor and “in times like these, let us let our anchor hold and grip the SOLID ROCK,” keep the faith!  Remember:

“We walk by faith, not by sight”

 (II Corinthians 5:7)
